Villanova Veterinary Hospital is looking for a receptionist to become part of our friendly and collaborative work environment with generally great clients and patients.

The hours for this position are:

• Monday 7:30a-5:30p and
• Tuesday 7:30a-5:30p

We are extremely paper-lite so computer skills are absolutely necessary. We are willing to train to an extent but do strongly prefer you have at least 1 year experience working in a small animal veterinary hospital.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent client communication and patient care
• Recording accurate medical notes
• Answering phones/emails
• Scheduling appointments
• Checking in/out appointments
• Client education
• Dispensing preventatives
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked hospital
• Cleaning kennels (post-op or post-drop off appointment, we do not board)
• Very infrequently assisting with restraining animals for procedures/exams (must be able to lift up to 45lbs)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
